No experience or training needed. Just bring a desire to have fun! Like singing at a community ritual, it’s about real people being together, not so much about performance. A place to share songs you know and learn songs that you don’t know or have been trying to remember ... or just a place to come and sing pagan songs because it’s a fun thing to do.
We started, in May 2006, hosting a gathering to sing songs from Reclaiming Tradition and other sources without any cost to the group or participants and welcome all ability levels and levels of commitment. This isn’t choir, chorus or performance, but rather a group that likes to have fun singing and sharing pagan songs.
We thought these events would create more connections with the community for the witches and Reclaiming related events, like the classes, and also for the annual Olympia community Spiral Dance. We also really love the way that song and music is part of all the Reclaiming classes and events in which we’ve participated. We wanted to have more of that through the year.
We hope that you will:
