faust01.jpg Most of the classes offered will be directly or indirectly related to the Reclaiming tradition of modern pagan witchcraft. For more information on the Reclaiming tradition, see the Reclaiming Home Page.

Please note: Although studying and practicing the Reclaiming Tradition can be profoundly healing, Reclaiming’s classes, rituals, events and workshops are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. Priestesses and teachers are not responsible for diagnosing illnesses or recommending treatments. The Reclaiming community and teachers hold students responsible for seeking professional help if they need it.

Current Classes

There are no classes currently scheduled.

For more information e-mail info@olypagans.org.

Join our low-volume, announce-only Olypagans Crier list and we’ll send you an e-mail when events or classes come up! Send us an e-mail at info@olypagans.org and let us know what classes you are interested in having brought back to town. After all, current classes without you is spelled crrent, and who know what the heck that means?!

You may also want to take a look at the schedules of the Seattle and Portland Reclaiming communities. Although not local, you may be interested in the Reclaiming: Bay Area Core Classes. (While the Bay Area is definitely not in the Salish Sea or the Pacific Northwest Megacity, and may or may not be in Cascadia, it is definitely part of Ecotopia, after all.)

Additionally, please consider checking out the annual BC Witchcamp, or any of the other Witchcamps.

Other Classes

These are classes other than the Core Reclaiming Classes organized by Olypagans.

Sacred Sex Magic class

Ecstasy. Boundaries. Attraction. Sensuality. Desire.

Our sacred sexuality is a birthright, a source of incredible joy and sometimes frustration. We welcome all the pieces of our sexual selves in the gorgeous paradox of being broken and whole. Together we will awaken and refresh a deep relationship with our unique sexual life force. We seek to know our own sex energy intimately in order to bring it fully into the world, inspiring our relationships and magic.

Working with sexual energy can challenge us on many levels and willingness to participate fully is important - however, please know that you will not be asked to sexually interact with your classmates or teachers. Please be pagan friendly and comfortable with creating sacred space and working with guided meditation or trance. We welcome adults of all genders and orientations.

Ravyn Stanfield is an acupuncturist, writer, lover, artist and activist dedicated to bringing more magic and erotic revolution into the world through the cracks in Western civilization. She teaches workshops internationally and in the Oregon prison system. She has been involved with Reclaiming since 1995.

Dawn Isidora works as a spiritual counselor and hypnotherapist with a focus on relationship issues (be they relationship with oneself, other(s) or the Mysterious Ones) as well as teaches internationally. Involved with the Reclaiming tradition since the early ‘80s, she is an initiated priestess of both Feri and Reclaiming and these inform her work.

Dream Salon with Anne Hill

Have you ever woken from a dream and wondered what it meant? Do you still think about an important dream from childhood? Is your sound sleep disturbed by troubling dreams?

Dream interpretation is an ancient art, and all dreams have many layers of meaning. In this informal dream salon, we will learn how to work on dreams as a group, cover some key dream symbols and their meanings, and explore techniques for cultivating healing dreams. By using the simple, supportive techniques of group dream work, we can connect with the personal, archetypal, and transformational energies all our dreams are made of. All levels of experience are welcome, and everyone will have a chance to work on a dream.

Anne Hill, D.Min., is a writer, ritualist, and dreamworker who has been investigating dreams for many years. Anne is co-author with Starhawk and Dianne Baker of Circle Round: Raising Children in Goddess Traditions. She teaches widely and has a private dreamwork practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. For more info about Anne Hill check out Gnosis Cafe Dream Studio.

Witchcamp

Reclaiming WitchCamps are intensive retreats for the study of magic and ritual, usually held in a campground setting.

WitchCamps are offered to people at all levels of experience. Newcomers can learn the basic skills of magic and ritual, working with the elements, movement, sound and the mythological and historical framework of the Goddess Tradition. Advanced paths offer the chance to apply the tools of ritual to personal healing and empowerment, or a focus of taking the craft out into the world, creating public ritual, ongoing groups and healing issues surrounding leadership and power.
